Project Overview

Beattie Air successfully delivered the mechanical and electrical services for the Fiddlesticks Restaurant Alteration project — a complex refurbishment undertaken within the tight operational constraints of a fully functioning, high-demand commercial kitchen operating 7 days a week, from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The refurbishment required precise planning and execution to ensure zero disruption to restaurant operations, customer service, or kitchen workflow. Through close coordination with Clearwater Construction and the restaurant management team, works were staged using night-shift programmes and carefully sequenced trades to maintain full business continuity.

Our Mechanical & Electrical Scope

The project required the full integration of HVAC, refrigeration, air purification, and electrical services, including:

  • Installation of UVC lighting air purification technology to enhance indoor air quality

  • AC system upgrades to improve comfort and efficiency

  • Full kitchen extract and ducting system installation

  • Refrigerant system alterations and chiller fitout

  • Refrigeration equipment installation

  • Flooring works and coordination of multiple trade interfaces

  • Electrical power and lighting installation, including all mechanical system wiring

Beattie Air also managed six subcontractors, ensuring all workstreams aligned seamlessly with the restaurant’s operating requirements and renovation deadlines.
