Beattie Air was proud to partner with Robinsons Construction to deliver the mechanical services installation for Blenheim’s new $10 million retail development, home to Harvey Norman, Rebel Sport, and Briscoes. At 6123m², this large-format site is one of the most significant commercial builds completed in the Marlborough region in recent years.

Our scope included the supply and installation of Daikin rooftop package units and split systems throughout the building. These systems were selected for their reliability and performance in large, open-plan retail spaces.

Mechanical installation involved the coordination of multiple rooftop unit crane lifts, which were carefully planned and executed in alignment with the broader site programme. Our team worked closely with Robinsons Construction and other trades to ensure each lift was timed effectively, with minimal disruption to surrounding works.

Project delivery required detailed planning and clear communication with all site stakeholders. From first fix to final commissioning, our project managers coordinated closely with electrical, structural, and fit-out teams to maintain workflow and ensure all services were installed cleanly and efficiently.

Each tenancy was fitted with an independently controlled HVAC system, providing operational flexibility and energy efficiency tailored to each retailer’s usage.

Beattie Air delivered the project on time, with all systems commissioned and ready for opening. Our involvement in the Harvey Norman Blenheim development demonstrates our capability to deliver large-scale commercial installations with strong project management and seamless trade integration.
