Project Overview

Beattie Air successfully delivered the mechanical services package for the Lincoln University Agritech Refurbishment project. The scope involved transforming a former storage facility into a modern, comfortable office environment designed to support the University’s expanding Agritech operations.

In addition to the main refurbishment works, a separate building received a full mechanical performance upgrade. This required careful sequencing, precise coordination, and strong collaboration with HRS Construction to ensure seamless outcomes across both facilities.

Our Mechanical Solution

To meet the project’s performance and operational requirements, Beattie Air supplied and installed a combination of modern, energy-efficient systems, including:

  • High-efficiency Split AC systems for reliable year-round comfort

  • A Heat Recovery System to maximise energy savings and reduce running costs

  • New Ducted Systems to enhance airflow, indoor air quality, and occupant comfort

The mechanical upgrade in the secondary block focused on improving reliability and optimising the existing system to meet contemporary standards.

Key Achievements

  • Transformed an aged storage facility into a fully functional contemporary office environment

  • Improved comfort, energy efficiency, and overall building performance

  • Installed a heat recovery solution that significantly reduces operational costs

  • Delivered the project with minimal disruption through strong coordination and clear communication

  • Met all client expectations for quality, performance, and delivery timelines
