Project Overview

Beattie Air delivered the full mechanical services package for the Purapura Whetu Trust Office Fitout. This was a complex upgrade within an existing two storey building that required detailed coordination with other trades and careful planning to manage the constraints of the existing structure. The goal was to support a modern office environment while integrating new systems with older infrastructure.

Our Mechanical Scope

The works involved

Integrating a new VRF system with the building’s existing air conditioning network
Installing new ducted and split AC systems to improve comfort, zoning, and energy performance
Carefully sequencing mechanical works in coordination with the builder and other trades
Routing ductwork and refrigerant pipework through a constrained retrofit environment
Testing, commissioning, and optimising all systems to ensure consistent performance across both floors

The project required practical problem solving and engineering precision to deliver a seamless result within an existing structure.
